Would English Literature, Politics, History and either Sociology/RE be a suitable mixture of subjects for a Law application?

I currently have A*AAAAAAAAC at GCSE, the C grade being in Maths.

I'm not studying law but presumably, there's a heavy emphasis on essay writing. In that regard, a subject like Sociology should be absolutely fine.
