I'm currently in Year 12, going into year 13. I want to study Computer Science, although I don't know where, and I'd like to think I could get AAA at A Level, but I don't have predicted grades yet, and I haven't discussed it much with my teachers.
It recently occurred to me that there are other options than university, as I've spent most of my academic career planning to go, and after a brief consideration of the options I know of I have decided that I do want to go to uni, but I don't know if I should do a gap year and get some work experience beforehand.
Has anyone else had this problem, and for the people that have taken a year out to work, how did you find it? How was the process of applying to work, and did you find it useful? If you planned to go to uni after, did this motivate you, or did you lose interest in further years of higher education?
(Also, I don't know where this is supposed to go, so I'm sorry if it's in the wrong place)
Should I take a year out before uni? Watch
