I have passed into second year and I went into my local nationwide branch to ask for an overdraft increase with documentation to say that I would receive student finance, and results that say I passed. The person I asked ignored what I had in my hands and just looked at the brochure which says nothing specific on this.
I need the overdraft increase to pay a deposit and the first month of rent. It's obvious that people need the overdraft mainly for initial costs of moving in as student finance comes in late September.
So when am I eligible for the increase? It is really important to know specifics this time of year.

Halifax did mine there and then when i asked for it. Have you got over the limit before? I can't see a reason why they wouldn't have done it straight away. Is there a possibility you've been declined for it?
