But the Supplementary Application Questionnaire (SAQ) has a section asking for specific A-level module scores. Do you mean St Edmund won't pay attention to module scores but only to overall grade? Thanks.

It asks for UMS score and most A levels do not provide UMS - raw marks are not the same as UMS and should not be entered as such. The SAQ is being overhauled for 2023 entry and I don't yet have a firm idea of exactly what the new form will ask for.

I see. Thank you!

Hi! I wonder when the decision will be released for the second round application? I knew it was a bit early to ask this, but I would like to know the timeline briefly. Thank you so much!

Thanks for your reply! Will the college send all the rejections/offers on the same date, just like in the first round?

For those interviewed, yes. Decisions on interviews will come out as they're ready.

Have all interview invites gone out yet? If I didn't receive one, does that mean I didn't make the cut?

We haven't sent any yet. All decisions will be communicated - everyone will hear one way or the other.

If you have 2 or more interviews, each is typically 20-30 minutes. If you have one then it will be about 40-50 minutes.

Can you keep us updated on this thread about the new SAQ form and LNAT test required for Law from 2023 Entry, in April I presume? :s-smilie:

Good Evening Team at St Edmund's,

I am very grateful to have been granted an interview for Psychological and Behavioural Sciences at St Edmunds, however, I am struggling to find material online (as well as offline by asking around), on the type/style of admissions interview for this particular course. It seems like the general consensus is very broad, and although I might be coming across as nothing short of being naive for not realising that's the actual goal, the most helpful thing I found so far is this:

"The style of interviews will vary between colleges, but your interviewers will all try to ask questions that allow you to show that you have thought about the subject, and have an aptitude and enthusiasm for study in Psychology. [...] Interviewers are looking for a capacity to understand scientific concepts and to develop and apply ideas. They are much less interested in what you already know [...]. Most colleges hold two separate interviews with each candidate one interview may be quite scientific in focus, while the other may be more general. We are not looking for students who already have all the answers, but rather those who show potential to thrive on the course." ( https://www.pbs.tripos.cam.ac.uk/prospective/faq/faq-pbs-tripos-course#toc-5 )

Would you able to advise where either myself or other applicants in the same situation as me, could find some interview prep resources specific to PBS at Cambridge?

N.B.: I'm not looking for what questions we will be asked, I'm simply trying to get some 'peace of mind' by learning in greater detail what to expect.

Thank you in advance,
J
