Hi, i'm just after finishing year 11 and I wanted to do an apprenticeship in I.T
    I was just wondering, if i should do a level 2 or a level 3 a apprenticeship.

I currently have no experience, qualification or gcse's in I.T at all.

If you have just finished year 11, then realistically you should be doing a Level 3 apprenticeship (Advanced apprenticeship) which would be equivalent to A-Levels. Although it is "preferred" to have an IT qualification, there are still many IT apprenticeships that you can apply for without one as long as you have a genuine interest in IT in general and have some IT knowledge to bring forward.

    Hi there,

Each employer will look for different entry requirements/experience. A level 3 apprenticeship would be suitable as you have recently finished your GCSE's. Yet be open to the possibility of other level 2 apprenticeships.

If you are still looking for an apprenticeship you can try using our website where 1000's of apprenticeship vacancies are live right now.

    Hope this helped!
