My 18th birthday is coming up soon, and my parents are thinking of having some formal dinner with me, and I don't really own any clothes that would suit that kind of celebration.

I was thinking of wearing a dress, but I'm not too sure on what types of dress would be appropriate, or which shops are the best for formal dresses. Can someone help me out?

Look online first of all, at websites like Next, New Look or Debenhams and see whether they have anything. If not, try some local shops (charity shops sometimes sell really nice dresses). If I were you I'd probably go for a smart, just above/below the knee clingy dress. Don't go for plain simple colours, try and find something with a pattern on good luck!
What's the best type of cheese?
