2nd year Product Design student- waiting to find a placement.
I had a placement confirmed and a contract signed only for it to be cancelled 3 days before its commencement due to a 'business decision'. I am currently searching for a new placement but this may take some weeks.
I have a student finance statement ready to come into my account Mid-August but wanted to know whether I should cancel this application and only re-apply once I have confirmed a new placement ?
If I were to keep the current finance application open & find a placement, would the amount I receive change depending on the pay of the placement ?

Hi Ellie244
Depending when you do find out what placement you get you can change your course details online or complete the change of circumstances application form.
If your course starts and you still haven't found out about your placement, you can get in contact with one of our advisers and we can
have a look into stopping your payments before we get the confirmation of registration from the university. Just make sure you do contact us
before your course starts to avoid this.
Thanks
