What I'm going to be taking:
    Maths- C3, C4, M3
    Further maths- FP2, M4,M5/D1

    I really enjoyed M1 and M2, but apparently M3-5 is SUPER hard. I'm not choosing S2 because I didn't enjoy S1

    Should I take easier modules?
Is it advisable to take D1 rather than M5?

    Out of these choices:
    FP2, FP3, M3, M4, M5, D1 which modules would you choose and why?

Well D1 is easy so I recommend doing it, but if you want to do mechanics, just do mechanics. I've heard FP3 is really hard and if you are enjoying mechanics, you're probably best off not taking it.

Honestly though, I'd do M3/4 and D1, but that's just me, purely because of how easy D1 is.

Though have you thought about maybe doing M3-5 and D1? D1 doesn't take too long to learn, and if you do extra modules, the exam board only takes the best ones to give you the best possible grades overall.

They're not "SUPER HARD" - if you enjoy mechanics and found M1 and M2 easy, it's just as likely that you'll find M3-5 similarly enjoyable and easy.

Not if you enjoy M5 more than D1. Personally, I'd take any other module over D1/2.

I would choose FP2,3 M3,4,5. D1 is just an utter bore.
