Trump announced UK trade deal may be on the cards

Thoughts? It was only just over a year ago with Obama came over here saying we would be put to the back of the queue

He said that a long time ago, it will take at least two years to do the trade deal and we don't know how big it will be. But it's a lot better than Obama's policy of shunning the UK

yeah it would make sense to form a trade deal with us... but then again Trump says a lot of things doesn't he
Hooray, chlorinated chicken for all!
What do we actually have to trade them though?
Crap food standards for all. Hooray.

Not to mention, how thick are you? Trump says something. Wow.

Lock her up. Drain the swamp. Fake news. Build the wall. Repeal and Replace. And I'm bored but you get the picture.
Trump will sacrifice the UK in an instant if it suits him or it threatens his ego. It would be good if we can get a mutually beneficial deal. Expect us to cave on chlorinated chicken , GM crops and the NHS or anything else they want.

We have absolutely nothing yet, so lets see what deal we get as well as what brexit deal is negotiated.
Let them eat chlorine.
Well, there goes our health service.

Do we have anything the US actually want, other than gullible consumers to buy their shoddy products and food?

Guns?

They like them and we still make them.

Let's see what the trade deal actually includes before getting ourselves wet over pres. Snowflake. His recent involvement with trade deals has been pretty unconsumer friendly.

US exports to UK: $55,288.9 million
UK exports to US: $54,272.0 million

So yes, plenty of trade it seems but don't let that get in the way of a good rep-whore.

Yeah, but they also make their own guns. Would an American choose British over American?

Trumps been saying this for ages, its old news. The news is that trade talks are positively progressing but frankly i think its rude he's gone ahead and shared such info knowing how sensitive the issue is to the EU considering its a violation of their laws as the UK is still a member state, its utter disrespect them and no doubt it isn't helping us getting the close and tight relationship we seek to have with them post brexit.

I have no doubt he'll seek to get rid of the trade deficit between the USA-UK (thats a trade surplus on our end)

Yes, if they knew anything about guns.
