Ok so like I feel like I buy too many things
Recently I bought a new phone and a new watch and new trainers and new clothes and it made me feel good however now I'm looking at all this stuff thinking why I thought it was such a good idea, i mean do I really need all of these things ? I didn't and yet I still went and splashed out. I honestly feel like some spoilt brat considering the amount of stuff I own like MacBook and overpriced phone and tonnes of expensive clothes ect and idk I don't feel like it's very ' me ' as I'd like to pride myself on someone who doesn't need things to make them happy

If the spending gets you down, go ahead and auction off your purchases. At least you'll have more time to know where your priorities lie.

Set some rules for yourself before you purchase anything. Like leaving it at least a week before you buy something. If you still want the item then fair enough. But I bet you'll find yourself wondering why you wanted it in the first place. Also maybe try only carrying limited cash so you can't overspend or impulse buy.

    thanks for the advice
I've put my watch up on eBay to try and get some of the money back as I've decided it was an unnecessary purchase and i didn't need it

Setup a savings account that contains all of your money, and only keep £20 max. in your current account. That way, you are forced to MOVE money across to your current account if you need to buy anything that costs a lot, and through that transfer process, you are forced to THINK whether or not you actually need the thing you are buying.
