    my sleeping pattern has been messed up the whole of summer lol. I saw your thread earlier today about general guide to languages, it was good

    I'm interested in learning German... do you think it's best to learn basic phrases, then vocabulary, then grammar? or grammar, and then start learning vocab?

    Because I've had mixed opinions from different people. What worked best for you?

    I usually go 4 days a week, and for each session I spend 60-90 minutes each session, depending on what body part I'm exercising

    I'm glad it helped! I would definitely advise the former; German grammar is very rich and it's a good idea to be able to communicate and to understand basic texts/speech before you dive into the grammar. Though I would also recommend that you integrate vocab- and grammar-learning as much as you possibly can and learn both at once, once you've reached a solid basic level in both. You'll be more likely to remember both vocabulary and grammar if you learn them in context and through use.

    Probably about the same Not quite crazy cat person status but almost there, got 2 at home That sucks, how come?

    I'll say Supernova91, she's my best pal on here and we'd no doubt go on some dates if we didn't live at total opposite ends of the country :lol:
