For all those of you starting uni in 2017, we hope you're looking forward to starting your studies!

We've put together a list of the top 10 things to do this summer before you start.

Let us know what you think! Which ones will you be doing? Are there ones we've missed?

    1) Go on holiday!
You’ve worked hard and it’s time for a break – whether this be camping in Cornwall with your parents or sunbathing in Spain with your friends.

    2) Do your research
Find out all there is to know about where you’re going to be studying including the best cafes and clubs and where to buy midnight snacks.

    3) Learn to cook
The summer before uni is a great time to master a few dishes, even if they are all pasta based!

    4) Read whatever you like! Plus get a start on the required reading. Once uni starts you’ll have lots to read, so read your favourites now.

    5) Have photos printed
Choose your best Instagram/Snapchat shots and get them printed ready to decorate your uni (or home!) bedroom.

    6) Sort out your packing list
Now’s the time to work out what you’ll be taking with you and what you should leave at home (clue: pets!)

    7) Find friends on Facebook Lots of Facebook groups have already been set up, join in and meet your new mates.

    8) Learn some household basics
From YouTube, your mum or Mrs Doubtfire! For example how to actually use a washing machine.

    9) Set up your student bank account
The first step to managing your finances.

    10) Decide which societies to join
Check out your university's students' union to find out about all the clubs and societies you can take part in.
    :happy2::happy2::happy2::happy2:

Not got your uni place yet? Lots of uni's have places still available in clearing.
