    Hey guys,
So basically this is the problem. I've completed bronze and will finish silver on January 2018. If I start my Gold then, I will have to do a minimum volunteering of 12 months, so I'll complete Gold by January of 2019. Then I will be in year 13 - halfway through it. The main reason I started it was to get into uni, so will this be too late - will i be applying to uni before this time and then also would it be worth doing it if i dont make it in time for my uni application?

Universities don't give a **** about DofE. That's a lie that sixth forms and DofE organisers tell to incentivise people to take it.

Do it if you think it will be interesting and enjoyable - not for CV points or some misguided idea that it would get you into university.
