I failed three subjects in the first term of my college. I feel so miserable. I don't even know how to tell this to my parents.

I'm really sorry sit down with them when they have a quiet moment and can solely focus on you. It will be difficult but it's better to tell them now rather than leave it hanging over you for ages. You'll feel better once you've told them and they can help you with what to do next and advise you on how to do better next time. Honestly it won't be as bad as you think it will be, but do it as soon as you can. Good luck

What if I tell them after getting good grades next semester? I mean that would make it up to it right? I don't wanna disappoint them.

I know you don't but having it hanging over you is bad, it'll only make you feel guilty that you're hiding something from them. Everything will be fine, honestly. It's better to be honest now and get this off your shoulders
