What are some useful books to read over summer to do with criminology? I'm considering applying for it this year.

A book called "Introducing Criminology" by Clive Coleman and Clive Norris. Also look into Val Mcdermid the Scottish author because she writes really good fiction and non-fiction crime books. Her non fiction one called "Forensics the anatomy of crime" is really good

I would also have a look at 50 Key Thinkers in Criminology. It's a good background for Criminological Theory.
