I can either go to Colchester sixth form or Tendring technology college sixth form. I just did my GCSE's in Tendring but I don't know whether to stay or go for my a-levels. Any advice?

Go to an open day for Colchester and see how you feel about it.

-Try to figure out how good the teachers are compared to your school.
    -Which has better facilities?
-Which has a nicer atmosphere? Your view on Colchester could be influenced by excitement so have a good think about it practically.
-Compare the subjects you want to do for both schools and see if there are any differences. If so, which one seems better for you?
-Do you think you'll enjoy being in an entirely new environment and having to make friends from scratch? How you feel about it can change so have a good think. (Whatever you choose though doesn't have to be set in stone) .
    -Are any friends also going?
-What sort of extracurricular stuff do each offer as well. (e.g opportunity for work experience, clubs)
-how much support do each give? Like my sixth form gives us all our textbooks for free while another sixth form might offer EPQs etc.
