I was 1 Mark off a 7 in HL Psychology, I practiced by writing essay plans to past exam questions for all the different types (e.g. 12, 22 marks), and then writing practice essays. To learn the studies I used flash cards, writing out the aim, methods, findings etc in bullet points and tested my self on them, found this useful for learning names and dates.
