Hi I have been suffering from major depression since I was 12 I'm now 32 I've been on many antidepressants which have worked to a certain extent some have sent me a little wild as in partying doing uncanny things and I've been diagnosed with bipolar type 2 but I've been put on venlafaxine for just less than 3 weeks first week 75mg which sent me into hypomania for first 4 days I didn't sleep eat felt like I'd took speed then on day 5 I felt aggitated i got snappy and crashed cried myself to sleep from 7pm till 10am woke to not being able to move my whole body ached so spent the whole day in bed I had my meds uped to 150mg and every couple of days I get so low and all those suicidal thoughts start creeping in I'm in doubt I have bi polar because these meds don't seem to work as well as I expected has anyone had similar effects from this antidepressant before thanks in advance
