Would greatly appreciate if anyone can share insights / thoughts on below especially if dealt / faced similar situation in the past.

Over the summer I took and passed an external course at LSE (statistics). This course is not compulsory as a part of my UCL degree however it is a pre-requisite for another higher course I am planning to take. Would UCL accept this external course that I passed as one to satisfy pre-requisite requirement and allow me to take higher level course? I have emailed the department but am yet to get the response so soliciting views from people who faced / dealt with similar situation.

On another topic, anyone has experience with receiving approval for taking additional course over normal 4 course unit load, is this a complicated process?

Thanks in advance for any insights.
Do you think parents should charge rent?
