    What is it you want to know?

    Ideally you would go and see a student advisor to assist you, thats what they are there for .

    I have just read the academic regulations for you and in brief and because I dont know what you want then I will have to guess.

    In the event you fail a resubmission then it goes to the Awards and progression board. the same place it went to the first time round.

    They decide whether to allow a resubmission. They allow one, but then the second allowance to resit is at their discretion and they do this based on your other academic progress. If you are doing well in everything else then that makes it more likely and if you are struggling then less so.

    The only other out is if you have mitigating circumstances, family issues, bereavement, medically supported illness. You cam then ask to go under the mitigating circumstances procedure, which is another option for them to give you a second chance.

    They can also decide to give you a condoned pass. if you were 30-39%. Thats a pass which they let through. Its at their discretion and only for 20 credits in your pgce.

    You will be capped at 40% if they say yes.for a further resubmission.

    You may also get a letter with a warning which requires you to show significant improvement or they can terminate.

    Advice.

    1. If you have mitigating circumstances then make a claim under this procedure along with any supporting medical evidence.

    2. Go and see your tutor and or a student advisor.

    3.They will have a meeting and if you have no mitigating circumstances they make a decision based on your academics in everything else. They might allow you to resubmit , but there is no guarantee. The letter will tell you what they decide and it is quite possible they could terminate or ask you to resit the whole year, which has funding implications.

    * warning.

    The rules I read were 2014/15 and you need to read the 2016/17 version or the latest one. Its probably still 2014/15 and the rules probably havent changed, but they could have. I would be reasonably sure they havent but you should check.

    Thats the best advice I can give you without an interview or further details.
