Can I still apply for student finance? + Language requirments

Hi, I made this decision pretty late, but I want to return to education. Do you know, if I will get the money if I apply for loans this week? I mean the degree and accomodation one.

Also, am I required to take on IELTS, if I'm settled in UK? I've been living here 10 years.

You'll still get money, it just won't be guarranteed to be in your account before the beginning of the first term

You will need to talk to your uni admissions, they will need to be satisfied as to your standard of English and often maths. If you have GCSE English you will be fine otherwise its up to them.
