You need to have applied for accommodation and student loan, if applicable.
You need to learn how to cook basic meals, how to do the washing up, and how to wash your own clothes.
You probably want to look at how much money you'll have left after paying for accommodation, so you know how much you have to spend over the year. This can be much less than you think. You might want to do a full budget plan, or plan to get a job to supplement your income.
You might want to start thinking about what to take. It can be very expensive if you have to buy everything all in one go in September. If you start planning now, you may be able to persuade your parents to buy you a few bits (or sneak a few items into the trolley each week). They're much more likely to spend £10 on your stuff per week than just give you £100 as a lump sum at the end...

But you don't really need to do anything specific. You might want to look at the course modules on the uni website and get ahead with reading - but this really isn't necessary. Don't buy any textbooks until you get there. The uni library might have loads, and for some textbooks you will be only reading a page or so and don't need to buy them. If your previous studies were relevant, you might want to look over bits of the course that you were unsure about, so that you have a better grounding for future studies.
