oooh i believe in that:biggrin:

I'd say love at first sight does exist, but more in the form of lust. Once you start acting on it, it can very fast turn into love

Why not

Personally I don't think you can fall in love at first sight, but you can see yourself loving them in the future. If that makes sense lol.

I sort of had an experience like "love at first sight" a few years ago where I met my friends cousin and thought she was looked amazing and would be an amazing person. The same day we started dating, unfortunately the distance was too big at the time for our age (couldn't drive and parents weren't willing to drive the distance) and we split up on a mutual agreement a week or two later. So I guess the idea of "love at first sight" is possible, its just a really vague term I think.

Any chance you'd like to give some details about your "really weird and unexpected things" that have been going on?

I don't think so, not without talking to them, lust yes, love hasn't happened yet.

Romantic love- No.
Love the first time you see your newborn child- Yes.

I don't know... as a romantic i would like to believe it's true although i think more often than not it is Lust at first sight. i think that when people act on it, its more romantic and probably down to selective meory that they believe it was indeed love at first sight, however there is a difference between Love and Lust which some people confuse and that is how this saying came about. Love needs time to grow, except louisedotcom said when it comes to parent and child that love (which is a different type) is there from the start in most instances.

I agree with this.
I wholeheartedly believe in lust at first sight, but for all you know, that hot person could be a total tosser. So no, not love at first sight. Except in the movies.

Nope
I hate that kinda thing. You can lust after someone, but love? No way.
I'm reading Much ado about nothing (for eng lit), and it's pissed me off already, because of the way the guy (no idea what his name is) walks in, sees girl (no idea what she's called either), she walks out, and he's decided that he loves her and wants her to be his wife. What a load of bull
The world isn't like that. People are to complicated for something like that to work.

Never experienced it but I'm unsure if I do or not.

Well a lot of people go so far as to get rid of any body odour that I think pheramones would be drowned out by perfume/deodorant anyway.

I don't believe in love at first sight, but I do believe in attraction at first sight. Just because I see Jude Law and find him attractive doesn't mean I love him.
