Hi, I was wondering how you apply for accommodation if you choose to go to your insurance choice? Also, how do I apply for maintenance loan as I didn't apply for one for Worcester due to living at home?

    Please help! 😂

It depends on the university, but look on their website for contact details for their accommodation department and speak to them about it. As for the loan, you need to get this done ASAP.

Look on the pages here: https://www.gov.uk/student-finance/n...ltime-students. There's information about applying for your loan. You should've applied for the maintenance loan anyway, as you can get it even if you are staying at home. Log into your SFE account and see if you can add the maintenance loan application on. If not, you need to call Student Finance England.

Thanks for responding! I didn't think I'd need the maintenance loan as I don't pay rent and I get extra for having a little one anyway but I'll definitely apply now! I'll have a look at the Uni site and see what it says then. Thanks again! ☺️

It's definitely worth it, even if just to cover things like course costs. Yeah, I know the uni I applied to wouldn't let you book accommodation until you made them your firm choice, but as far as I understand that isn't the norm. The accommodation department will be able to advise on their policies though
