Well, King Arthur was based on a legend, about a Romano-British King pushing back the Anglo Saxon advance. I think it was more of a migration than an invasion. If the Anglo Saxon invasion didn't occur why do we speak a West Germanic Language and why does England and perhaps Scotland? (Scots its a west German language/dialect)

Yes, but the invasion was probably no more than a 10-50,000 people rather than a mass replacement, although the population of Britain at the time was much smaller than today, something like 1 million. They obviously defeated the native Britons, but mostly they just became the new ruling class.

English is a West Germanic language that originated from Anglo-Frisian dialects brought to Britain in the mid 5th to 7th centuries AD by Germanic invaders and settlers from what is now northwest Germany, west Denmark and the Netherlands.
I like a stab at mission impossible too but this is not a fight I'd pick...
