Please can someone help me I'm new to this group and the course any help would be great
Start as soon as the module website opens. This gives you around 3-4 weeks to play with in case something goes wrong. Also having one of these is essential:
Map out what your doing week by week INCLUDING all your family/work commitments as well as allowing yourself time to chill/watch tv/play games etc. That way you can plan your studies effectively. If your doing 60 credits you should be putting in 16 to 20 hours per week 90 28 hours week and 120 36 hours per week. If you find yourself getting bogged down and its too much, assessment bank your scores and defer or do a 30 credit module instead until you can sort the rest of your life out BUT DON'T GIVE UP. The difference between success and failure is two words: I QUIT.
Here some reading recommendations:
Everything you need to pass is in the module texts and module website to pass but if you want a distinction you'd be wise to do some extra reading.
Good luck with first year. The OU is incredibly rewarding and enjoyable as long as you put in the work.
