I ask myself that a lot. It might change but this is what I currently do:
1. Collate analysis , key points and quotations
2. Find a conmon essay topic
3. Mindmap things to write for this essay
4. Write the essay in less time that you receive to make room to plan
5. Repeat
6. Close to class tests etc , make a flashcards for key quotations and learn mindmaps

That is just what I do , it could be wrong.

The best thing for me was to look at my results for mocks and see how I could improve my scores. Say for one questions I got 30/40, I'd ask my teacher what I could do to improve and get more marks. Once I knew, I'd go and, in my own time, redo that question, get it remarked, and hope I'd improved! That does take quite a bit of motivation and dedication though: you'd have to really want to do it. And you'd have to hope your teacher didn't mind marking it for you. Good luck.
