i've applied for Bristol and UWE because i love Bristol as a city. I've applied for Bristol University knowing that i probably won't get in with my predicted grades, but just on the off chance. and also applied for UWE as it requires less. is there a big divide in Bristol between the two unis? are there more facilities open to one univeristy to the other? having visited Manchester to see friends there i noticed a massive difference in Manchester Uni and Manchester Met, the students at Manc.Uni almost looked down in disgust at the students from the Met! also, have heard the union at Bristol Uni is alot better than UWE?

and was basically wondering if it was the same situation in Bristol as in manchester?

Bigger difference, in my opinion.

Manchester is a top 20-30 university; Bristol is a top 10 university.

Then again, there's nothing wrong with UWE either, and I think it's better than MMet. Go for whichever you prefer.
