Engineering with International Development

I've recently graduated in aerospace engineering (currently in placement now) and am interested in going down the international development route, hopefully working towards consulting or working in an NGO later on in life. I've been looking to apply to the Engineering with International Development Msc at UCL but the rankings for their civil engineering department is not rated that highly. Has anyone here done a similar course at UCL, another uni in London or are there any similar course to this at say Imperial ?
Another course at Swansea : http://www.swansea.ac.uk/postgraduate/taught/engineering/msc-sustainable-engineering/
Or Water Engineering/Development : (Loughborough) http://wedc.lboro.ac.uk/

Or .. do a straightforward International Development/Development Studies Masters and then look at research/NGO work using both knowledge strands. Sussex (http://www.sussex.ac.uk/development/pgstudy/postgraduate-prospectus) and UEA (https://www.uea.ac.uk/international) -development/postgraduate-taught-degreesare probably the best 2 UK Unis for this.
