Is England boring?

Okay so I am currently living in England and have done so all my life, I'm 16, and I'm currently just finding it so dull. It feels like most of the towns are copy and paste (I live in the south, and it does get more interesting up north from what I have seen) and there is absolutely nothing to do. The weather if we are honest is almost always grey. The parks aren't really that nice, nothing compared to the average American park. There aren't (at least near me) many local sports leagues for women, because yes there is rugby, football and cricket clubs for men. Everywhere I go there are people in tracksuit bottoms, and the houses are just so dull. I don't really see the appeal to small England villages, I don't find them pretty really. I'm more adventurous really, I like to just pick up my camera and backpack and go somewhere which looks cool, and England doesn't really have that, also the public transport in quiet towns is shocking. I don't know if it's just me, and I know some people love England, but I just can't see the beauty in it.

Oh, just stop moaning, get out there and make a go of it. The only problem with England is the propensity to carp on about stuff like this rather than do something positive with your life.

What you need is a bit of excitement, somewhere they have a nice famine or civil war, then youd never know what would happen from day to day.

All the more reason to do well then get out and travel then you could compare.

Lived in Scotland for nearly 2 years. Yet to be bitten by midges. Greater chance of that happening at home! :colonhash:
