No, it won't (or isn't likely to).

You'll probably have to get it unlocked. When you buy a phone, it tends to be locked to the network its sold on. You only know for definite when you get it though.
It should do but it depends on where you buy it from.
My phone came with an 02 sim at the Carphone Warehouse but my Virgin sim works fine inside.
If you buy it from an 02 store other networks might be blocked.

Some phones come SIM-free while others are locked on the network. There's not really a way of being able to tell other than to ask them.

If you really just want the phone, ebay is the best place, if that's possible for you. It's cheaper and you'll know if its unlocked/or not.

Even if they are locked to O2, you can get them unlocked for only a fiver.
