summer job?

i'm 14 and looking for a job to earn some extra money for the summer. i would prefer the hours to be flexible. anyone have any recommendations?

Temp work is best, have you tried supermarkets (or any kind of retail job) or restaurants like McDonald's etc? Usually they'd advertise for temporary/part time work. Just looked at your age though so maybe it's worth looking for a paper round or working in a local shop where age won't be a problem?

I'm also 14. I have a Saturday job in a local dog groomers just doing the basics like washing and drying dogs as well as cleaning the shop. I'm currently doing one day every week and every other Saturday. I don't know where you could try to get one but I would highly recommend asking for it on your own (without a parent) it will show that you're confident. Good luck!

You're going to struggle getting a job if you're 14 because of insurance and not having a NI number - your best bet would be things like a newspaper round, babysitting, dog walking etc
