Anyone has worked at Vue cinema?

Basiclly they just rang me up for an interview tomorow, I'll have to decide if I accept the job or not. Thing is that I am expeciting other calls (specially from restaurants) that I'm more interested in, but if I miss this chance and then after nobody rings me up again I'm going to be really ****ed up.

The description says
As a Guest Assistant, you’ll be responsible for making sure every Vue customer has an unrivalled cinema experience. You’ll be out there on the front-line, meeting, greeting and serving our customers in the box office, the concession area or on the floor. Whether handing out tickets, selling packs of popcorn or showing people to their seats, you’ll make sure everyone has a great time in a safe and clean environment. If you’re friendly, approachable and willing to work hard, this is definitely the right role for you.

That sounds fine to me, only I don't know if I will have to clean the rooms aswell, it doesn't say anything about that in there...
Can I watch films for free?
...
Hey, a bit late now, but if you're offered the job, accept it, you can always turn it down/quit if something better comes along. These places have really high turnovers; I wouldn't worry. How did you interview go?
I work at ODEON and we get to watch films for free

I love working in a cinema, you have alot to do and get to watch parts of films and everything is all friendly and happy. I hope you get the job!
A bit late here, but in case anyone else is applying to work in Vue/another (inferior) cinema chain.

There are three main areas of work - Floor, Box and Concessions (not all cinemas have box though). Some cinemas also have a Ben & Jerry's stand.

Your main tasks on floor are to direct customers to the screens ("So that's Beowulf you're going to see? You're in screen 3, that's through the doors there and on your left - enjoy your film!"), check the screens for any problems (customers being noisy/mobile phones, check the film is playing properly) every 20 mins during a film, check the toilets are clean, and clean the screen after a film has come out. That last part there willl ensure that you never, ever leave rubbish in a cinema ever again, because it is such a pain in the arse to clean - especially when there's popcorn all over the floor, and you only have 20 mins to clean what was a full screen before the next film starts.

Box is simple - you're just selling tickets.

Concessions is food and drink obviously - but if you're working at Vue, you'll also sell tickets ("You can get your tickets at any of the tills!"). As well as selling the stuff, you also have to restock as you work. Concessions can get hectic, but personally, I think it's quite fun when it's busy. Especially when you run out of things

You do get to watch films for free, and you can also bring a friend along for free. And staff showings are a pretty cool perk.

I'd say working in a cinema is a lot more fun than in a restaurant (although I don't know what it was you were applying for in the restaurants...I've only had waitressing experience and I hated it).
I hope your interview went well!

Thank you all for answering.

I finally had my interview, it took so long because they assumed that I needed some sort of Visa work permit, so I could not take the interview in the first place because they wanted me to sort that out, two weeks later I rang them back saying that in the Home Office, the JobCentre, at Uni... and basiclly everywhere, I´ve been told I don´t need such a thing as I´m european so I only need my spanish passport.´

Well I had the interviewed on Thursday, it took about 30 minutes. I answered all the questions, in some of them he really liked my answers and everything went really well in my opinion. At the end of it he confirmed my phone number, introduced me the guy that would train and told me that they would ring me in the next four days...

It´s saturday now and I´m a little bit worried. Do you think I´ve got a chance or should I forget about it?
Did you get the job?
