I think that many people might not think that protein shakes could be unhealthy, they just assume that they're going to be healthier, but not always the case. Many are packed with sugars, and preservatives. :/

Protein shakes are filled with sugar so Jane who joins the gym for the first time and spends 20 mins on her first visit then goes to the vending machine to buy the shake, leaving her gobsmacked on how something so healthy can taste like an Oreo milkshake

lol Probably true. I make my own protein shakes, but...still have to watch even for the powder proteins, some are loaded with crap. Many people just like the idea of eating healthy, but they don't really take the time to see what's going into their foods. The ''idea'' of a protein shake/fruit smoothie sounds healthy.

You joke, but I've never met anyone called Jane who wasn't fat.
I get about 2/3 of my protein from whey protein and have done for over a year now. 3 years of hammering down the meat every. F***ing. Day.... it gets boring AF after a while and you start looking for alternatives
