UCL clubs/societies

Hey, has any1 thought about joining any clubs or societies?
I know its a bit early to talk bout it but hey what else to do when UCL is not sending any info!
I've jus been to the UCL Union site, there's quite a lot of stuff there. The Dance Society seems v good, I'll probably join the hip-hop or street dance...any1 else?
There's probably gonna be loads bout the clubs/societies on the Freshers Fayre, I jus hope I m not tempeted to join too many.

Anyway, what kinda societies would u ppl like to join?

im going to join as many sports ones as possible:
football, badminton, table tennis, cricket

I m gonna study economics and statistics. there is economics society but i dont think i m gonna join one cos aint these societies/ clubs suppose to take ur mind off studying

Yeah, i see what you mean, but the Law society arranges trips to France, Amsterdam etc.. You should join it too

Nice. I'm a competitive tennis player, would be nice to continue playing. I also love casual badminton, so i will most likely join those clubs and anything else that looks interesting...

I will definitely join the UCL gym, looks quite nice and cheap too.

BTW on the web site it says that I have to enrol on the 28th at 3.00pm. Do u lot think that it means I have to come particularly at this time and cant come early jus to look around or smth?

yeah! that's one of the things im most lookin forward to! dance society definately and hopefully an art society if they have one. some martial art ones. a drama one! we got to sign up for everything cause we're not living on halls. heheee..

PS. grr why havent they sent us anything!

even tho you dont enrol until the 28th, i think you still have to be there on the 27th - departments have induction sessions, and the fayre begins

It should be alright as the college will be buzzing with wide eyed freshers wandering around, im planning to get there an hour early for exactly the same reason.
