Hey, so on 24/08 I receive my GCSE results (which are provisional). So do I receive another sheet later on that is 'actual GCSE results'?

The awarding body sends your school the official certificates (with all of your results with a shiny foil seal on them ). You should get them by October.

Make sure to keep them safe - They're about £40 a certificate if you lose them! (depends on the awarding body)

Not exactly. You won't get another results sheet with all the details on but you will get the official exam certificates. They arrive in school by early November and then get issued when they are all checked and sorted out - probably December. Although the sheet is called a Provisional Statement of results it is very rare for any of the grades to change unless you request a re-mark and that is successful.

Heh, well I had an awful experience of remarking. Portuguese GCSE went from a D to A*. That reminds me, I should make a thread about that
