Hi
I have my Specialist Interview on the 21st August for the role Intelligence analyst. im obviously really nervous and not sure what to expect. my first question is the interview and when you get asked to talk about current does it have to be about military or can it be about civilian? Also can i have some tips and advice on how to prepare for it.
Thanks

Its a bit difficult to understand your post.

Common sense would have me preparing a decent knowledge of current events but slanted towards those where the military might be involved. Read the BBC website and then when you ahev an idea of the areas read some more in depth articles or just watch the news i.e Newsnight.

Armed forces. International affairs. Defence.

You should have a look round for some of the forces websites to see if there are any IA's hanging about and can give you inside knowledge.

If you search this forum for advice on interviews you'll find, conservatively, a few hundred posts, explaining - often in great detail - exactly what goes on.

Read them.

If you're going into intelligence they kinda want you to be able to look through data and get a picture for something. Well. Consider this your first test.
