Will I get in??

Do you think I can get in accounting and Finance with
AAAAB where I have an A in Maths and English?
The typical offer is AAAAA and the minimum (which Ive been told we need to get higher) is ABBBB

Or will my B destroy my life and not let me in the course I want to desperately take?

I imagine this is scottish highers where 5 is the normal number?

If you already hold an offer and those are your actual results, you've already gotten in.
If those are your predicted results and a typical offer is AAAAA then it's too early to call. You need to wait to see how many others got / are predicted the typical offer or above. Then admissions offers will start from the top and work down until all offers have been given out.

Generally speaking, universities give out ~ 3x more offers than places (for people who don't firm or miss their offers etc). By the looks of it AAAAB is at the higher end of the tier if the minimum is ABBBB. So you've got good odds at the moment.
