Interested to know people's experiences, I am about to start writing my personal statement and have considered the course since I can't pick between History and English. What are deadlines like? Is it very stressful? Regrets? Pros/cons etc etc

Hey Itsaaliyaa,

I've encountered a few JH students in my time so can offer at least a little advice!

The pros of doing a Joint Honours lie in the diversity of learning and flexibility. You get to study two subjects instead of one, and usually pick which modules interest you from both.
Deadlines are similar to any normal degree. You'll have to work to a timetable and make sure assignments are submitted on time!
I wouldn't say anyone mentioned it being any more or less stressful than a normal degree.

Con wise. You won't go into as much depth and detail as if you studied a single subject.

Hope this helps a little.

All the best,

David
