The Student Room Group

I made a mistake in the application form

Hi!

I am starting my third year at university this September, I am an EU student. When filling out the application form for the tuition fee student loan (for continuing students), I wrote that I want to apply for £9250, as I'd seen that the fees had been raised. Now I realised that it only applies students starting their studies this year, and my fees are still going to be £9000. Unfortunately I've already sent the application form by mail yesterday, though it hasn't reached the student loans company yet.

Is this mistake going to be a problem? Should I resend the application form? Is there any "correction form" that I can send in this case?

Thanks,
Zoltan
Hi zolantal

if the university are only requesting for £9000 that's the amount we will pay them.

Thanks

Hi Miriam,

So there is no further action needed on my part? Is the application going to be all right as it is now?

Thank you.
Hi zolantal

Yeah that's correct once the application has been assessed we will issue a notification of entitlement letter.

Thanks
