So when I was a child I had perfect straight teeth white as well but now I'm 19 and have ugly teeth my parents didn't let me get braces and now I'm stuck with a horrible smile there are no options ??

You can always get braces now, though they might be quite expensive

Why wouldn't they let you get braces? They would have been free and only been for a couple of years. Your only option now is to pay for them (as you're over the age for free NHS orthodontic treatment), which would cost several thousand pounds.

Don't feel bad, you can get them at any age. At least you don't have to have your Jaw snapped and have the bone on the upper jaw cut off and moved backwards so the affect of the braces remains your whole life.

Omg are you referring to TMJ? That sounds so scary that's one reason why I kind of delayed it as well as my parents.

Nope top jaw surgery, Maxillary impaction (top jaw upwards)
