My boyfriend bought me a ring for my birthday last month.
Last Friday, I slept at his house for the night and left it there by accident, along with a pair of earrings. He mentioned it to me in a text and said he would look after them until I was able to collect them.
Anyway, I'm due to see him tomorrow, and in a text about 30 minutes ago, I told him to "remind me to take my earrings or whatever it was..."
Now I promise, I knew it was his ring, but for some reason I just didn't say it like that in my text and he was offended by it. I now feel really bad and I have a feeling its never going to drop now
He's forgiven me for it and told me not to worry about it, but I just can't help it as I can see how it must of sounded to him

don't worry about it if he says don't worry. this is a nothing issue really. its just a ring and not worth the drama you're creating
