Hi I'm going into year13 , over the holiday my teacher wanted me to complete the psychopathology unit, which I have , I was wondering shall I self teach another unit? Over year 12 I have completed Research methods , approaches, memory and biopsychogy and now self taught myself psychopathology.

I'm planning on doing relationships

Why haven't you covered attachment or social influence?

If relationships if your school's option, then go for it but if it's going to be taught, what's the point?

If I were you, I'd self teach if I was genuinely interested in the module. Being able to self teach is an important skill if you are planning on applying for university and so you'll will have had 12 months beforehand to get used to having to teach yourself content or reduce a large amount of information into a manageable amount. But I would also consider going over content you have learnt as it is important to not to forget it!
