Bachelors engineering degree

In a year I am going to apply for a foundation year in Mechanical Engineering at Man Met but I can not find what level the maths and science is taught to and whether it is hard or not and if the foundation will help me to a great extent. Is the maths and science taught to A level or is it taught to a higher level and what level is it taught to on the foundation year.
Usually foundation years will teach maths to a slightly higher level than A level, but will ignore some of the less relevant content, e.g. mechanics will be shifted off to your physics lecturer, you won't do stats or decision stuff, etc. This will apply similarly to science subjects taught.
