I don't think 500 new graduates is enough to fill the current gaps and turn a deficit into a surplus (and therefore a buyers market). Especially given that the vacancies are generally at middle grade and consultant level which will dilute the impact further.

I doubt more than 25% of doctors are retiring soon. There the total number of doctors will rise with this influx. The supply of doctors rises and automatically it must means the salary drops
