Ok so I'm heading off on a solo holiday tomorrow to scandinavia lol and my parents didn't really have any issues with me doing that, but wondering what other people's parents thought.

    for context I'm 19

Yeah - Mine would have no problem with me doing that.

    Have fun and stay safe.

Not until I have my own house. My mum is super over protective of me and honestly I kinda like that

Judging by the state of the housing market - that would be never

Yes. I'm an adult. Anyone who tries to tell me I'm "not allowed" to do something can politely piss off lol.

My mum might be a little worried, but she certainly wouldn't tell me I'm not allowed. I'd just reassure her and be sure to check in so she knows I'm safe.

    As I'm 23 yes.

One of my friends was allowed to go travelling at 14. When she was 14 she told her mum she was going to Norway for a long weekend with friends, when in fact she was going on her own

Most airlines allow you to fly by yourself from the age 12 (so long as a parent has signed a form giving permission).

I am allowed to travel by myself, mainly because I am 22 years old..

My parents wouldn't have a say in the matter HA! unless I was trying to go to Iraq or something. However, I a bit older though. Have fun.

    Since I'm 28 I'd find it amusing if they said I couldn't.

I've been abroad alone before. They thought nothing of it.
