Would a doctor tell me he suspects anaemia, if really he suspects something more harsh? Saying he wants to 'rule out' anaemia and that anaemia will be 'easier to treat'.. maybe i'm just paranoid..it's just I had a cousin who was diagnosed as anaemic, but died of leukemia

Why don't you wait for the results to come back, instead of imagining the worst?

Your cousin may well have had both where one was undiagnosed. But a doctor wouldn't say something for an easy ride. Anemia isn't the end of the world. You are simply prescribed iron pills and black pudding with every meal. Yum!
