What was your essential item during your first year at university?

I got into uni today (yaaay), and the shopping beings soon. So, I want to know, what was one item you took with you/bought when you were there, that you found you really needed and found really useful?
Decent speakers, very important for any drinking session.
Door wedge or just something to hold open your room door in halls. Helped massively with initially making friends and coming across as approachable :smile:
