Maths Edexcel c3 chapter 2

if f(x)=1/x+1 , prove that f^2(x)=x+1/x+2. Hence find an expression for f^3(x).

Please help, having trouble with the first part about proving it. Any help is extremely appreciated!

If f(x) is a function, in words or otherwise, what is f^2(x)

(Hint: it has no relevance to squaring the whole expression as you might think)

so would it be 1/1+(1/x+1), if you can understand the badly used symbols

TBH if it was that i wouldn't know how to solve a fraction in a fraction
