So I had offers for dentistry from Manchester and Plymouth this year but my A levels went Horribly wrong, I got CCD. I've decided the best option for me is to resit my alevels but my chances of getting another offer for Dentistry are gone. I noticed there was a lot of clearing for courses such as medicine and dentistry this summer. I think my best chance is to apply for another course this year and keep an eye out for clearing next summer. This begs the question of whether I should do the UkCAT this year or next summer. If I am to stand any chance of going through clearing then I should I think it will be wise of me to do the UkCAT but I'm not sure which UKCAT score would be better between 2017 or 2018. Obviously this is all a long shot but it's better to be prepared incase a situation like this years arises again.

You need to find out if universities would accept resits, even if they are in clearing they might not accept them.
